Interesting facts about Nokia Mobile Phone!!!!!

1) The ringtone "Nokia tune" is actually based on a 19th century guitar work named "Gran Vals" by Spanish musician Francisco Tárrega. The Nokia Tune was originally named "Grande Valse" on Nokia phones but was changed to "Nokia Tune" around 1998 when it became so well known that people referred to it as the "Nokia Tune."

2) Nokia is currently the world's largest digital camera manufacturer, as the sales of its camera-equipped mobile phones have exceeded those of any conventional camera manufacturer.

3) The Nokia corporate font (typeface) is the AgfaMonotype Nokia Sans font, originally designed by Eric Spiekermann. Its mobile phone User's Guides Nokia mostly used the Agfa Rotis Sans font.

4) In Asia, the digit 4 never appears in any Nokia handset model number, because 4 is considered unlucky in many parts of Southeast/East Asia.

Search engines are apart of internet user's daily life. Obviously, Google is currently the mother of all search engines, but it was not always this way. Intially it wasn't the huge companies which were not creating search engines but rather college students were.The first tool for searching the Internet was called “Archie” which was created by Alan Emtage, a McGill University student in 1990. Archie was a program that downloaded a listing of all files located on public anonymous File Transfer Protocals (FTP). The list was generated into a searchable database for users to access.

Some Untold Tips about Windows

Here are some really interesting tricks in windows which are not banal....

(All of these work in windows 98, me. For windows xp one has to do some minor changes. If not able to interpret, can always ask me for help.)

1. Quick shutdown: Generally you have to move your mouse to the start button, click on it and then click shutdown. Yet again windows asks you whether to shutdown, logoff or go to standby mode. Well here's a method by which you can shutdown your windows in a click of your mouse.

Create a new shortcut in the desktop, then in the command line of the shortcut type:
c:\windows\rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindowsexec
(NOTE: The path might differ according to the drive which has windows.)

Now all you have to do is to click this shortcut to shutdown windows.

There are a lot more stuff I would like to share and explain but right now am a bit occupied, so excuse me for late postings.
